Interior – Pop Store’s Little Trip To Paris

A very secretive buying trip for your favorite clothing brand took place this week in Paris. The trip was taken to find inspiring Parisian delights for a new studio somewhere far, far away. We became galvanized and a little plump on our search for all things yummy. We found a provenance of unique pieces that we just had to buy. Here are just a few of the stunning boutiques we stumbled upon along our way…
111 blvd Beaumarchais Paris 75003
A four-story boutique complex in the upper Marais that includes a florist shop, a used bookstore and treats for everyone from vintage clothing to one off interior accessories. Designers including Stella McCartney and Paul Smith offer customized versions of items from their collections at more accessible prices. The vibe is warm, mushy and makes you feel oh so at ease with spending your paper. An atmosphere that arouses such lavish consumption must be worth a look!
Les Mille Feuilles

Another boutique filled with rich texture and cordial climate, was Les Mille Feuilles…
For the past 7 years Les Mille Feuilles has concentrated on having beautiful things with Pierre Brinton travelling the glove to find his ‘coup de coeur’ objects the place is a big curiosity cabinet full of different and heteroclite artifacts, all with a story to tell.

Located in the Saint-Germain neighborhood, this famous store with the black storefront opened by Madeleine Castaing in 1947 at the corner of the rue Jacob and the rue Bonaparte, where many celebrities and artists met (Soutine, Chagall, Modigliani) now houses the new Ladurée tea salon.
With an impressive interior flushed with scents of heaven, Ladurée was a highlight for us, and l’attention to detail was incredible.
These small, round cakes, crisp on the outside, smooth and soft in the middle, are the most famous creation of Ladurée. The story of the Ladurée macaroon starts with Pierre Desfontaines, second cousin of Louis Ernest Ladurée, who at the beginning of the 20th century first thought of taking two macaroon shells and joining them with a delicious ganache filling.
