Trend – Denim by Comune – Pop Store

September 27, 2011 § Leave a comment

One of our brands causing a stir this Autumn is COMUNE. The line is has some very Autumnal influences, neutral and earthy tones with a soft and muted color palette.

Started by Southern California native Frank Delgadillo, Comune is a fresh, young label that aims to push boundaries with their clothing range, drawing inspiration from skateboarding, fashion, art and music. Teamed with footwear from high-tops to Cowboy boots, these denim styles look so current. Comune is a label that feels a little military, a bit workwear and even slightly preppy – all things we love.

With an array of styles from; slim fit to chinos and finishes from raw to waxed denim styles… there is a pair for you in there somewhere.

We are running a 40% Sale for a limited period only on our Comune denim line. So hurry to get your Autumn wardrobe updated.

Take a look at what we have available at our online store:

Product Development – Common Sons – Pop Store Commercial

July 14, 2011 § Leave a comment

The last 20 years has seen the decimation of the clothing manufacturing base in the UK. Business’ have deserted these shores to get cheap labour elsewhere and have said the industry is dead on its feet in Great Britain.

Here at Pop Store we thought BALLS to that (we aren’t the gloomy sort)… so to prove that great quality, affordable clothing can be made in these fair isles, we are currently working on a project developing a mens knitwear brand made exclusively in Great Britain, Common Sons. Here’s a sneak peek at one of our samples.

First stop is Selfridges for an exclusive period at the start of October, then we march into ASOS a couple of weeks later.

More pictures soon along with sneak peaks of the Summer 12 range.

Location: Nest, Dallas, NYC

Date: Open Now for Spring Summer 2011

To all civilians and jet-setters in NYC, This weekend will be your last chance to shop the Warby Parker pop-up shop on McKinney Avenue inside the cool Dallas boutique, Nest. Making sartorially stylish sunglasses and eyeglasses, New York-based Warby Parker is all about fashion-forward eye wear for fair prices.

Designer collaborations are a dime a dozen these days, and it takes something special to get us hot under the collar…When we heard word that two of our fave labels, Suno and Warby Parker were joining forces to create lushly patterned shades, well, we just couldn’t curb our enthusiasm.

Among our favorites from Warby Parker are the sunglasses developed through a collaboration with designer label, Suno. The colorful, quirky frames are must -haves for the sunny season ahead, take a look at these hot little pairs…

Warby Parker was founded with a rebellious spirit and a lofty objective: to create boutique-quality, classically
crafted eyewear at a revolutionary price point. The aesthetic is vintage-inspired, with a fashion forward twist – and every pair is custom fit with anti-reflective, polycarbonate prescription lenses… all the while, providing a pair to someone in need with every pair sold. See more at:
