Location: Dean Street, Soho, London UK
Dates: 1st December 2011 – 5th December 2011
Ebay’s Christmas boutique will be open for just five days and will close on Monday the 5th of December. The first week in December has traditionally been the busiest shopping week in the lead up to Christmas and the opening is designed to coincide with this.
The store has the website’s top 200 items available in the shop. Customers can use the Ebay App on their mobile phones to scan a barcode on an item’s price tag and have them delivered to their homes within three days.
Staff in the store said that this way of shopping ‘no queues, no bags, no stress’. We thought this was a rather cleaver concept. Take a look at this video to see behind the scenes how this store concept works…

Congratulations to our friend Ellis Parrinder on winning 4 pictures in the TOP 50 Most Beautiful Photographs of the Decade voted by NME. This is a huge accolade to have achieved with some of the industry’s toughest critics.
Here Ellis captures Kate Moss and Bobby Gillespie of Primal Scream at the NME awards in 2007. This is just one of four fab pics taken by Ellis.
We worked with Ellis a while back when Pop Store were approached by Fenchurch to style and direct their European Autum/Winter 2009 campaign. Pop Store approached their friend Ellis to shoot the campaign. The shoot location was on a boat on the Thames between Battersea to Canary Wharf. This was an outdoor shoot with ever changing light conditions, however, Ellis managed to get shot after shot nailed without any photoshop retouching needed.
Fenchurch set us a brief affirm their position in the market as a London based streetwear brand. This campaign became Fenchurch’s most successful and hit the European market by storm. Ellis was a huge part of the process and we are happy to see his achievements.
He also shot our Fourholes campaign underwater, and check out the results…

We are delighted to announce our triumph at this years New Store Europe – Retail Week Interior Awards 2011. The 14th Annual Awards ceremony was held at the Hilton in Park Lane last Thursday 29th September, and we picked up THE SFD BEST POP-UP STORE prize. The award was for our design of Pop Store at the Bullring shopping centre in Birmingham. We are pretty chuffed with this result as we were up against some heavyweight competition including design teams from; Debenhams, NIKE & Selfridges!
We were also nominated as finalists for THE NJ RICHARDS UK SPECIALIST STORE DESIGN OF THE YEAR AWARD 2011. The awards showcased tremendous efforts and achievements of other inspired retail designers whom we admire greatly.

One of our brands causing a stir this Autumn is COMUNE. The line is has some very Autumnal influences, neutral and earthy tones with a soft and muted color palette.
Started by Southern California native Frank Delgadillo, Comune is a fresh, young label that aims to push boundaries with their clothing range, drawing inspiration from skateboarding, fashion, art and music. Teamed with footwear from high-tops to Cowboy boots, these denim styles look so current. Comune is a label that feels a little military, a bit workwear and even slightly preppy – all things we love.
With an array of styles from; slim fit to chinos and finishes from raw to waxed denim styles… there is a pair for you in there somewhere.
We are running a 40% Sale for a limited period only on our Comune denim line. So hurry to get your Autumn wardrobe updated.
