Fashion – Matilda & Quinn Boutique – Online Shop

September 2, 2011 § Leave a comment

Our lovely friends at Matilda & Quinn have launched a oh so stylish boutique shop. We wanted to give you the good news, perfect timing as we’re all back to work following our not so sunny summer. Their classic styles can be worn during the day in the office without having to change for the evening from one season to the next.

Another reason why we love Matilda & Quinn so much is because they actively support the UK garment manufacturing industry and have made a concerted effort to work with the few high end manufacturers remaining in the UK.

Take a look at their new collection… Matilda & Quinn Online

Branding – Documentary – Passion Of The Craft

August 25, 2011 § Leave a comment

This short documentary ‘Passion Of The Craft’ first started when BANDIT – a strategic ideas agency in Copenhagen – realised their clients rarely understand the link between the lives of their consumers, and their brand. Because of this they decided to go on “a journey to find like minded individuals in fashion, branding, media, photography, marketing and design.” This is a great insight to Branding and we thought some of you would like to take a look…

Art – Vogue Covers from 2010 – Shrubrub

August 23, 2011 § Leave a comment

A LiveJournal user called Shrubrub has created some collages by stacking up every single 2010 Vogue cover from all over the world to arrive to the image below, where she’s pretending to see what would appear as Virgin Mary (I guess I could see that too). She also stacked up the covers country by country, creating more interesting results and as you can see the logo does not move a hair. Clever stuff!

Interior – Tokyo – Godiva Chocoiste by Wonderwall

August 16, 2011 § Leave a comment

We’ve been taking a look back to 2009 for this inspiration interior. This was the design for Godiva’s concept flagship store. Godiva’s idea was “treat thyself”. Wonderwall’s intention was to add a breath of fresh air to the more traditional image Godiva instill.
The shop features humorous design details such as the “melting chocolate” ceiling combined with the primarily classical interior design. This is a very bold texture must create a massive visual impact on all visitors. Take a look…
